Please exercise modesty! Shorts should be appropriate and should come close to the knee. Shirts should not be low cut. No tank tops or sleeveless. Ladies, swimsuits should be one piece otherwise a t-shirt must be worn (this goes for campers as well).

What do I need to bring?

In addition to clothes and toiletries, please bring

· Bible

· Sleeping bag or sheets for a twin size bed

· Closed toe shoes, sandals (with backs), flip flops (for the pool area only).

· Sun Screen (Optional)

· Bug Spray (Optional)

· Head Lamp or flashlight (Optional)

· Small notebook for taking notes (Optional)

Are there certain "manners" we should observe?

Teach children to honor one another. Teach them to allow others to go first, to wait their turn to speak, to lift their hand to be recognized and so on. Teach them proper manners during meals, not to talk with a mouth full of food and chew with their mouths closed. Remember: Be the example and to always to be kind, patient and understanding.

Language

“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” (Eph. 4:29) Not only is it necessary that we should guard our tongues against swear words, but to honor God and being mindful of the little listening ears, we ask staff not to use substitute words such as “shoot” or “crap” and to teach the children to refrain from using those words as well.
