The Lighthouse Ranch provides loving homes for foster children that are referred and administered by the Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes.  The homes are very large and the goal is to provide a home that will accommodate multiple siblings. 

 Siblings in foster care are often separated into different foster homes and sometimes permanently separated through adoption.   The vision is to provide long-term homes for children in foster care if children are unable to be reunited with their family, and to adopt if available. 

Corey, Aaliyah and the Merriman Family continue to thrive here at Lighthouse. The couple are involved in camp activities at every opportunity and the children can frequently be seen out playing and riding their bikes. They are always enthusiastic and loving as they run to and greet other Lighthouse staff and family.

   Children that enter our Ranch homes have generally had little structure in their lives and it can be a real challenge to deal with rebellious attitudes concerning respect for authority. We are so thankful for the Orcutts as they provide loving, Christ-like guidance and structure in the lives of the 

children in their home.
